Why We Shouldn't Take God's Name in Vain

Why must you defraud our God? | In whose footsteps you have not trod. Why must you take His name in vain? When for the world He suffered such pain. He sent His only Son to die. Now let me try to tell you why. He knew that we would not be right. To stand alone within His sight. So He sent Jesus,free from sin. Thru belief in Him; we're born again. So won't you think hard and long; before you degrade Him in that movie or that song. Someday you will stand before God answering for every idle word. Humble or Proud-Your Choice

We get into the car,insert and turn the key, | push the pedal to the floor and drive down the street. God will not cause us to be humble. It's a decision we must make. The choice to be humble or proud determines the direction our lives take. God resists the proud,but to the humble He gives grace. The proud He keeps at a distance,but the humble see His face. Where would you rather be in life's "ballgame"? Running the race alone or depending on His name? Lord,I choose to be humble and draw near on bended knee. To accept your gift of salvation; bought and paid for by Jesus's blood,yet completely free.
